WORLD CUP CROSS COUNTRY OPENER

Curacao, a tourist spot off Venezuela’s coast, is one of five Dutch Antilles islands. The course’s 4.2-mile length had very little climbing but was compensated for by its technical and undulating trail. The lap’s total vertical gain was 109.7m. There was even a topless beach included in the circuit. The circuit was 4.2 miles long and the men completed 6 laps while the women did 5.
